Back in 2008 Ray and Hans started working with Crosman as shooters and consultants. On occasion we are permitted to distribute some of the information that was derived during our working relationship with Crosman. This page is where you will find the up to date information. A Team PCP Tuning Procedures (click here) - While upgrading our Discoveries into the Match Prototypes we wrote a document explaining the manufacture of all of the updated parts (with illustrations) along with how to tune the adjustments (Hammer Tension, Hammer Stroke and Transfer Port adjustments). Crosman implemented these upgrades into the Challenger 2009 and the Marauder. This document is the tuning portion of that document which the Marauder was built around. This information compliments the owners manual. Regarding the Marauder - It has given me a real sense of pride to have been so deeply involved in developing this airgun. Having it be everything I would want in a gun that I would have designed myself. Thank you Crosman for the opportunity. And a special thank you to Russ Page, the Crosman engineer responsible for the Marauder, for listening to all of the apparently knit picking little changes that went into the Marauder. Sincerely Ray Apelles Here is my Marauder 2 days out of the box, Stock Clear Coated (Helmsman Glossy Spray on Urethane from Home Depot) at its first FT Match in Long Island where it cleaned the course on it's first outing.
Here is the Marauder with the Match Stocks as they arrived from Crosman. They balance perfectly and feel great. Going to be an interesting season.
Here are the Marauders during a recent outing.
